Possibly anemic, what can I do?

I haven't gone to my family doctor yet, but I plan too. Right now I'm in my third week of being on my period and it's really starting to piss me off. My mom can even tell that something's wrong, seeing as how the white in my eyes are paler than usual, and everytime I get up and move, I easily get exhausted, my head starts to pound on me, and sometimes if I move too much, my hearing starts to go soft and fuzzy. I'm thinking for now, just to stop the annoying pounding in my head, I was gonna take Advil Liqui-Gels, but it say's on the label not to take them if I'm taking Acetylsalicylic (ASA), not exactly sure what that is, but I am currently taking Micronor everyday, and I'm not sure if Micronor has that. Anything I should know?

Answer:You need to see the doctor. They can investigate why you are bleeding for longer than normal – probably with a scan and blood tests to look at your hormone levels. They can give you medication to lessen the bleeding – maybe contraceptives (which can reduce the length of time you bleed), or other methods like tranexamic acid (which can reduce the amount of blood that you lose). They can give you iron – it's not advisable to take over the counter multivits and iron because if you have a serious deficiency the doctor will give you the right amount. Also iron absorption is helped by taking vitamin C but reduced a little by some B vitamins. It's also reduced by tannin, so your doctor might tell you not to drink too much tea (the hardest part for me, by far!!)

Answer:i was anemic; my gyno said to take iron vitamins everyday.

Answer:Dang, not sure what to say. That much vaginal bleeding might be the effect of something rupturing in your uterus. :(

Answer:well im not a doctor but…

i am anemic too but not by a lot. i think eating peanuts or nuts helps but you should definitely consult your doctor.

hope i helped and best of luck!

Answer:lightbulb girl above me who answered is a whore. its normal to have a lot of menstruaL BLOOD IF YOUR ANEMIC. THE DOCTOR WILL GIVE YOU IRON SUPplements, but untill thien make sure youre getting enough protein.

Answer:ASA is Asprin, and similar pain pills (it will be listed in the medical ingredient list on the back of the package or bottle).

Definitely let your mom know what's going on, and then head to the doctor. Taking Advil will help your headache, but i's not going to solve the bigger problem here.

Answer:Take vitamin B Complex. The vitamin B group is a complex of several vitamins grouped together because they have similar function in the body with great benefits. All B vitamins help the body to convert food (carbohydrates) into fuel (glucose), which is "burned" to produce energy, also help the body metabolize fats and protein. B complex vitamins are necessary for healthy skin, hair, eyes, and liver. They also help the nervous system function properly. B12 helps in production of new blood cells, white to fight harmful bacteria and red to increase oxygen flow to the body's parts. Red blood cells are also helpful in fighting anemia.
